Disability,
inclusion and development
The United Nations estimates that some 600 million people worldwide
have a disability and that the vast majority of disabled people
live in low and middle income countries. Access to and sharing
of information resources can build the capacity of local and national
disability organisations, promote advocacy by and for people with
disability and improve the quality of life experienced by disabled
people. |
